Passionfruit syrup


Use passionfruit syrup as a base for drinks by adding water fruit, juice or lemonade.  


Ingredients:
  • 15 passionfruits
  • 500g sugar
  • 500 ml water
  • 1 tablespoon citric acid

Method:
  1. Cut the passionfruit, scoop out the pulp and place in a bowl.
  2. Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to the boil, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Pour over the pulp and stir in the citric acid. Mix well.
  4. Allow to cool slightly and strain. 
  5. Bottle and chill.
