How to freeze lemon juice

Squeeze lemon carefully not too hard or it can be bitter and place in ice cube trays.  Freeze. Remove from ice tray when firm and place in polythene bags or containers and return to freezer, for later use.

Lemon’s natural appeal to the taste buds account for its universal versatility and appeal.  Lemon can be used in appetizers, soups, main dishes, desserts and drinks.

The lemon juice is also often substituted for vinegar in salad dressing and used to prevent discoloration of some fruits. It used to improve the flavor of other drinks, act as flavor substitute for salt and help tenderizes meat.

Lemon goes well with all fruits, beef, lamb, pork, veal, chicken, turkey, fish and vegetables, ices and sherbet.
