Lamington


Lamingtons are small squares of sponge cake dipped in melted chocolate and sugar and coated in desiccated coconut .

A type of cake originating in Australia, apparently it was named after the Lord Lamington a governor of Queensland from 1895 to 1901.

You will find lamingtons in the supermarkets shelves and a favorite fund raising cake for schools and charity organization. 


This iconic cake have a special day 21st of July is National Lamington Day in Australia.
