Poached Eggs


Serves 1
Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
Method:

  • Bring a litre of water to the boil, then reduce to a low simmer.
  • Add the white wine vinegar.
  • Slowly crack the egg into the saucepan and gently swirl the water to form a whirlpool.
  • Simmer for 2 to 3 minutues, uncovered.
  • Remove carefully from the water with a perforated spoon.
